The saga continues over in Perth.

I wonder what Dalton Gooding will have to say about this?

Dont even bother trying to get onto the sen site to listen to in online, you cant get into it.

Sen are reporting that he missed training .

Was ment to be at training at 9.30, still wasnt there at 10, reports ben had told the club not to worry about his personal life, maybe hes said something to the club, the club didnt like it, and have had enough, so they suspended him.

Mel, the reason why the website doesn't always work is because there is a cap on how many users can listen online at once.

It has been set up this way to ensure that there is no server overload caused by people trying to tune in online.

Yeah i new a lot of people would be tr ying to get on to it, so i tried once, thn didnt boter again, i jsut went and got a radio to listen to it.

He missed a training session
He has a few private and personal issues going on
Was asked if it was drug related, there was no comment
Said it was a sad day for the eagles and its history
Ben was drug tested on the weekend, the results wont be back for a few weeks
Hes got to get counselling
Wont play for the wafl
Wont be aloud to train with the club

Thats about all i remember from what dalton gooding said.

If anyone wants to add anything else go for it.

hehe Yeah, I wouldn't trust anything from that administration, Craggle. I'd rather rumour and innuendo, thanks.

In all fairness though, Cousins is a gun of a player (even if he is a complete k**bhead off field). Whatever the circumstances that have lead to this, albeit all his warnings also, I hope Ben straightens himself out and takes the time he needs to recooperate.

And I hope that we win the premiership too.

He is one, silly silly boy!

Takes so much gloss off what should have been great times for the club after a great Grand Final victory.

But with EVERYTHING that has been going on with this club, they are now just the laughing stock of the AFL.

Some players go around town thinking that they are godlike figures, treated like kings in nightclubs etc, and unfortunatly for players like Ben Cousins, think that they are above the law.

Sad!

As much as ben has made himself look like an idiot with all the stuff hes done, and now being suspended, if the eagles were to let him go(which i dont think they will) i would love the dogs to go after him hard.

Yes he will be a handfull, yes hes an idiot, but hes a dam good footy player. Maybe a change will do him good.

Only to move to Melbourne & re-unite with his old pal Michael Gardiner? Think think

I was listening to SEN and they are saying that there are rumours of a massive rift within the Eagles following the suspension of Cousins.

On one hand a group of players are happy that something has finally been done about Ben's off field indiscretions. Another group are upset that Cousins has been dumped in a time of need with his life approaching crisis point. This alledgedly has resulted in an altercation between 2 senior players.

I wonder how Chris Judd is feeling about all of this, and whether this will be the final nail in the coffin regarding Judd's career at West Coast.

Haha, Monty Python's Life of Brian!! Awesome movie! Maybe Benny does need to "Always look on the bright side of life!!"

Hell yeah, I can picture it now:

Scott West, Ryan Griffen, Daniel Cross, Chris Judd, Ben Cousins. Kicking off to Akermanis and Bobby...

Back to back premierships (or even 3-4). And the Doggies dominating the top 10 in the brownlow count!

Ah, a dream.... a nice one, but a dream.

There's lots of talk of Judd coming up for grabs though. I don't know how right they are. On one hand, there's not a team in the competition that wouldn't let him write his own contract. On the other, he seems like a very loyal kinda guy though, so it might take a fair bit to push his tolerance to the point he wants to leave the club...
