Just received my membership pack today in the post. Overall a bit disappointed with it.
The rubber key chain is a little funny looking, prefer last seasons. The stickers and lanyard are the usual which is fine, but the highlights DVD only runs 20 minutes. When it was thrown in as an early sign up incentive I suppose I expected more, but overall I am very happy to see that included this season.
The pencil case is also more useful than that strange DVD holder thing we had last year.

The issue though, and much of the date in the other thread, is the voucher for a scarf or cap. However, it appears the scarf is for women, or at least designed that way according to the voucher. I don't quite understand the idea in offering a scarf designed for a specific gender.
Anyone else received theirs? If so what do you think? Better than last year or worse? How would you like to see it improved? _________________ "It would be great to be playing in finals and in teams that are winning all the time, but I chose to come to Richmond" - Nathan G. Brown |

Overall pretty much the same, although we get a choice of cat or scarf and get a dvd as well...i have more than enough scarves... .and caps for that matter, so it doesn't really bother me too much.
The keyring isn't as good, yet the pack is better and more useful than other years.
I guess they went the scarf [woman] & cap [guys] cos generally guys prefer caps, and women the scarves, and im guessing that perhaps they couldn't afford to give us both & the dvd, so thats why they went that way, and thats fair enough. |

| From what ive seen of the scarf, if we have a choice of what we can choose ill be choosing the hat straight away, im not a hat person but the scarf is absolute rubbish. |

Read in the other thread, no keyrings in this years membership pack unless you are a Social Club member. Is this good enough?
Melbourne Victory did not provide a keyring to members last season, and no keyring for the Dogs this year. I know I always leave me keys lying around either at cricket or work and symbol that says "I'm a Dogs fan" is always a conversation starter or at the least a free advertisement for the club.
Personally would prefer a keychain to a poorly made cap.
Is anyone here a standard/full member and missed out on one? Are you disappointed the club hasn't provided one?
(small issue but it's still pre-season!) _________________ "It would be great to be playing in finals and in teams that are winning all the time, but I chose to come to Richmond" - Nathan G. Brown |

Yeah I'd prefer the keyring to the hat.
But I'm only a long distance member.
Not sure I can complain. _________________ <img src="http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e343/Furtanken/griff.jpg"> |

Still nothing here, but sounds like everything will be sent out this week, including membership card (name on card prob too, only this was Etihad V Telstra Dome re-branding, AFL still having cardiacs about the name of a flippin' stadium...).
...only signed up in December, 3 good month turnaround...
Just glad it's an interstate game this week, so I've got some room if things don't come this week. _________________ WWW.SONSOFTHESCRAY.COM |

I don't understand how the delay can be because the AFL vs. Telstra Dome thing. The membership card has no mention of the stadium, at least not on mine. The only piece that was in the membership pack was the 2009 Calendar by Bulldogs Travel. _________________ "It would be great to be playing in finals and in teams that are winning all the time, but I chose to come to Richmond" - Nathan G.
