Congrats Pods, a sensational effort considering these awards are usually awarded to midfielders.
I still think he would be much more valuable on the Doggies list than the likes of Skipper, any one that can consistantly take on 2 or 3 blokes, many AFL players as well, could easily do a job in our forward line, has even played some games down back this year for Werribee. _________________

Hes Werribees Centre Half Back.
Sorry that was a joke from tiger talk(Werribees radio show, on Thursdays nights from 5-6pm, on 88.9wyn fm, for all those interested).I think it was Axe on one night and said he was our new chb, haha. |

He was on KB's program on SEN this morning, had a few things to say :
Loved his time given the pre-season with the Dogs a few years back.
One of the games this year he kicked something like 7 goals 6 behinds yet only got the 1 vote in that game, he said it was probably because he gave the umps a bit of lip.
Was very nervous during the count, didn't expect to get anywhere near the top vote count, was very shaky.
The full back he will be lining up against this week for NB kept him goal less last time. _________________

Well done Big Fella!!!!!
Well deserved. Wonder if there might be some AFL interest sparked now... _________________ "It would be great to be playing in finals and in teams that are winning all the time, but I chose to come to Richmond" - Nathan G. Brown |

Unfortunatly i think that big year when he consistantly won games off his own boot for Werribee, making the Bulldogs AFL listed players look second rate was his best chance, he is now 27. _________________

Looked like tarzan, played like Jane?
Saying that, i'd be very pleased to have Pods on the list, he just reminds me of Scotty Lucas, and whilst not as good, i have no doubt he would be dangerous at AFL level. _________________

Pods did all he could to try get Werribee up on Sunday, his finals series was outstanding by the sounds of things, 5 goals this week and Werribee's best, as well as 8 goals the week before.
Big time player. _________________

He stood up really well this finals series, hes had a great year, and its been a pleasure to watch him.
He got a big knock yesterday(well it looked like it at the ground anyway, not sure what it looked like on tv) then got up, went back and kicked the goal and all his teammates came running to him, would love to see more of that next year(not pods getting hit tho lol)
Hes a great player and an awesome leader, Werribee would be lost without him imo. I look forward to watching more of him in the future. |

I was lucky enough to be at the Liston Trophy when it was announced that he had won the medal, couldn't have been awarded to a better bloke let alone a footballer. _________________
