Every final has to have a loser. Werribee should win this but in finals footy the team who is 100% switched on is usually the winner.

Come on Bees! Give em hell!!!!

Big win by the Poo's, by 10 goals.

The big Pod on fire, simply unstoppable, 8 goals, had 3 players on him at times, and still got the job done, there are many AFL players that couldn't handle that pressure, but Pods was just too good.

Pity he was never given a chance at the top level!

Awesome effort by the boys, was also great to see my Birssyboy kick the 1st goal of the game. What happened to Jess Sinclair?

Disappointed with the crowd, was much bigger yesterday.

Great effort from the boys.

Excellent! Unfortunately I've been ill all day and didn't get to see the game.

Great to hear the lads got up and Pods is on fire for the Prelim!

North Melbourne listed players
Seniors

26.Hansen- started the game in defence but was ineffective as injury forced him off the ground. Will be looking to have a greater impact against North Ballarat in the preliminary final on Sunday.

29.Goldstein- returned to form after being beaten comprehensively last week with 31 hit-outs and 17 disposals. His kicking and general skills around the ground were good as he rotated the ruck duties with Obst.

30.Greenwood- a much better performance after last week, although his defensive pressure let him down at different times. His run, carry and delivery through the midfield was good as he finished with 18 disposals, 1 clearance, 2 tackles, 1 block and 1 spoil.

31.Riggio- returned from his one week suspension with a serviceable midfield performance and was one of Werribee's better players defensively. Had equal second most tackles (6) and got plenty of the ball with 21 disposals.

32.Ross- definitely not the Worst Werribee player as compiled 17 disposals in a good midfield game. Helped to set up a number of goals and didn't give up running across the full four quarters.

33.Brown- very good all round performance as he spent time down forward and in the midfield. Provided run through the middle as he helped to set up some goals and led well inside attacking 50. Had 13 disposals and kicked 3 valuable goals.

34.Davies- wasn't a ball magnet today but worked hard around the packs and at stoppages to make sure Casey's forward thrusts and midfield movement was restricted significantly. Finished the game with 19 disposals, 5 clearances and 3 blocks.

36.Scott Thompson- after an inconsistent game at half back last week, he definitely was much improved this week. Was part of a strong Werribee back six as he compiled 20 disposals, 4 tackles and 1 spoil.

40.Obst- played in defence and in the ruck as he did a superb job in shutting down the Casey forward line. His general work-rate and defensive pressure was great as he accumulated 14 disposals, 10 hit-outs, 3 clearances, 2 tackles and 3 spoils.

42.McMahon- returned to the side after an extended spell in the AFL, spent most of the game in defence and did a great job as he worked hard in making sure that Casey's forwards didn't receive the ball easily.

Scott Howard continue his purple patch as he compiled 28 disposals and kicked two goals as he spent time on the wing as well as at half back.

Robbie Castello laid 8 tackles and was superb in the midfield as he had 25 disposals in another super performance as he continued a good run of form.

Pods was on fire he kicked eight goals in a best on ground performance and he now has 80+ goals for the year.
