Another win at home for the boys, if only the finals were played at Batercard Oval.

Benny do you know how #37 is(is it saker or something like that), does he have a broken leg? I swear i heard the snap, it was either a snap of the leg or it was a slap.

Apologies for not replying to your text last night Mel.

It was James Saker and I am not sure if he has broken his leg or not, he was on crutches after the game but he didn't look like he was in too much pain.

Kangaroos listed players for Werribee
Seniors

29.Goldstein- played second fiddle to McIntosh, but was still effective in my opinion. Finished with 15 hit outs and 10 disposals.

30.Greenwood- another great performance with 26 disposals, 4 tackles, 2 blocks and a spoil in the midfield. Close to AFL selection in my opinion.

31.Riggio-again consistent yesterday, particularly in defence where he laid 6 tackles and cleared the ball twice. Worked to set up some goals as well.

32.Ross- very good in his return from injury and most importantly, got through unscathed. Had 19 disposals, 4 clearances and 2 tackles.

34.Davies- super game in the midfield where he helped to set up goals, tackled and ran hard. Finished the game with 25 disposals and 4 tackles.

40.Obst- definitely one of his better performances finishing with 25 disposals and 3 hit outs. Played mostly in defence and took some telling marks.

45.Warren- came back from playing in the reserves last week and was good in patches during the game, didn't play too much as a forward.

70.McIntosh- first game back after knee injury and was superb in the ruck rotating with Goldstein. Had 26 hit outs, 20 disposals and further proved his versatility by kicking two goals.

Scott Howard (25 disposals) played probably his best game for season 2008 and will be looking to be continually consistent leading into the finals series.

Pods was on fire yesterday, 6 goals in what definitely was a best on ground performance.

Reserves
I attended the president's lunch yesterday, so unfortunately saw very little of the reserves.

This means that I am unable to report on Wilsen's game.

Wow i didnt realise Pods kicked 6 goals, great effort Podsy.

Gotta agree with Scotty Howard, i thought he had a great game yesterday as well.

Found it pretty funny when the big H got caught holding the footy, so did he.
