Really tempted to go this time but doubt it since i'll be depending on mum, as usual, and dealing with a sure hangover.
I'll just catch ya that night ay Benny. _________________

No worries Lauren.
See how you go with coming along to watch the game, but it might be an idea to dedicate the time to glam up.
I'm looking forward to the ball too. _________________

It's his 100th game for Werribee.
He played his 100th career game against Frankston earlier in the year, but it was a game to forget because we got absolutely smashed. _________________

I don't think it will be too cold there tomorrow Lauren.
I'll give the camera a wave if it comes my way. _________________

Nope you were right Benny, it wasnt cold at all, it was bloody freezing , i walked out with purple hands.
What an awesome effort from the boys, that has to be right up there as the best game of vfl ive watched from the Werribee Football Club, if not the best game ive seen from then.
They had a pretty good 1st qtr, very poor 2nd then from the 2nd half they jist worked there way back into the game very nicely.
Great they got over the line for the big pod, i didnt have my camera ready for the banner but i got the boys carrying him off the ground. |

Kangaroos listed players for Werribee
Seniors
30.Greenwood- 19 disposals, 3 tackles and 2 spoils in a great defensive performance and has been consistent in recent weeks so I think an AFL game or two beckons.
31.Riggio- silenced the critics with 29 disposals, 1 clearance and two tackles. Also kicked a goal and I think another VFL game would be good for him, although may go straight back in.
33.Brown- again proved his versatility with 17 hit outs, 5 goals and 20 disposals. Another game like this should earn an AFL recall.
34.Davies- another consistent midfield performance with 27 disposals and didn't stop running at any stage. Helped to set up a few goals as well.
36.Scott Thompson- serviceable game in defence I thought but not as good in comparison to last week. Finished with 19 disposals, 2 clearances and 1 spoil.
40.Obst- 13 disposals, 1 tackle, 3 blocks and five spoils in a game where we spent time in defence as well as in the ruck.
45.Warren- unlucky as he only took 3 marks, but did some good things around the ground and helped to set up some goals.
72.Sinclair- 31 disposals in yet another super midfield performance but turned the ball over a few times. Defensive pressure was good, including 4 tackles and 3 clearances.
James Podsiadly had a 100th game to remember, with 21 disposals and 5 goals.
Michael Rockefeller with 18 disposals, 5 clearances, 5 tackles and a goal was good in the midifield.
Youngy laid 6 tackles and never stopped trying to restrict his opponent's ability to get the ball away.
Reserves
47.Wilsen- played in defence and had a stint in the forward line, although he didn't kick any goals. Did a number of good team things in what was a close contest against Frankston. _________________
