Kangaroos listed players for Werribee
Seniors
26.Hansen- very poor performance after last week's improved game against North Ballarat. He didn't get much of the ball and struggled to have an impact on the game. On the positive side, did a good job in defence as a stopper against O'hAilpin.
29.Goldstein- had 17 hit outs rotating in the ruck with McKinnon and moved well around the ground. Did some good defensive work and helped to set up a number of goals, improved performance after last week's effort.
30.Greenwood- great defensive game today that included five spoils and was consistent as he got some of the ball in each quarter. Pace was again a highlight.
31.Riggio- had on the impact on the game in patches, but struggled to be effective with his defensive pressure around ground. Did kick two goals though.
32.Ross- another seriveable game though the midfield and ran all day. Was involved in some amazing running passages of play that set up some goals. Kicked a goal too.
34.Davies- possibly the best Kangaroos listed player today with 29 disposals, although with only one tackle didn't apply enough defensive pressure. Played most in the midfield.
40.Obst- better game, had 14 disposals and kicked a goal. Was good in patches at both ends of the ground.
45.Warren- played a real team game today and work rate was good. Needs to be more consistent with holding marks after doing all the work leading etc if he wants to play some AFL games this year.
Skipper James Podsiadly put in a superb performance as he booted eight goals today and Robbie Castello was again good in his usual midfield role.
Michael Barlow was again consistent and Sam Wormald played a serviceable game in his senior game for 2008.
Reserves
47.Wilsen- a little bit down on previous performances, played in his usual forward line position but struggled and came away from the game with no goals. Did the team thing again and helped to set up a number of goals for team mates. _________________
