Anyone been watching the IPL 20/20 games from India on channel 10?

I watched one game featuring the Knight Riders, but there was no sign of David Hasselhoff or KITT!! Confused

Yeah when i can, being on so late makes it tough, how many teams are there all up?

I watched a bit of that game when the lights went off for 30 minutes, they didn't know what to do, total chaos, but fortunatly they came back on, and the game finished.

Good to see most of the Aussies firing, Haydos went nuts with the bat, Roy has also belted the bowlers, but he also copped Sehwag and went for 30 something off one over. wtf

The cheer leaders are too bad either. ;)

I will watch it if it is on TV but I won't go out of my way for it. Considering it starts after midnight makes it pretty tough to watch on weeknights.

I think there are 8 teams m_w.

I watched the start of Warnie's game last night against Gilly and Roy, between the Royals and Chargers in Hyderabad. The grounds look smaller than the Hatt Reserve in Williamstown!!!!

I saw the end of that game, Warnie smashed Roy in that last over to take the game, dont think ive ever seen Warnie hit a 6 before, seen him hit a 4 and 2 6's in a row, great stuff by him, just spewin it was off Roys bowling.

I've watched a couple of games - started taping them, and watching them the next day. Lots of big hits, superstar players, and huge crowds.

I stayed up and watched most of it as well, Roy blasted a ton in something like 50 balls, smashed Warney out of the park, so Warney got his own back needing 17 from the last over with Roy with ball in hand, Warney's 2 sixes got them to victory, would have been sweet after Afridi was giving Shane some advise. ;)

Ahhh many memories, many sixes hit in Willy beach, you'd block a ball and go for 4 on that ground..

Cool

This has been a very entertaining series, with the 20/twenty concept really starting to dominate cricket, it won't take over the real cricket [tests], but i believe the 50 over one game is in danger of becoming an endangered species.

As for this series, has been awesome seeing players from most counties play together, would be an absolute highlight for the players themselves, watching younger players from India and other countries talk with Gilly and seek advise from him as an example.

It is also very good for the up & coming or players that can't break in the Aussie line up, play along side international stars, and play on the big stage, players such as Marsh, Thornally, David Hussey etc, players that would most likely get gigs in other countries, but can not break into the Australian line up, and they'd be paid pretty well as well.

The bottom side defeated the top side last night, and on any day, any team can defeat any side no matter where they are on the table, and thats very exciting.

As for the 8 sides, here's a list of who plays for who, and i'll highlight the Aussie players.
