The Werribee Tigers suffered a confident smashing defeat to Geelong last week and were confident of rebounding with a win against Bendigo.

Cold and windy conditions greeted both sides during the game, with a good crowd including a solid contingent of Kangaroos fans showing their support for Werribee.

Werribee 17.13.115 defeated Bendigo Bombers 14.11.95

Kangaroos listed players for Werribee
Seniors

26.Hansen- another uneventful day for him, took some good marks but drifted in and out of the game. Played mostly down back but had no impact and needs to be more consistent across four quarters if he wants to get back into AFL side. Kicked a goal.

27.Adams- got a bit of the ball early, but was forced off with a leg injury and didn't return at all during second half. Hopefully he is right for this week's game against North Ballarat at Austar Arena.

29.Goldstein- another consistent ruck performance with 21 hit outs, but I believe he needs to improve his ground skills to add more versatility. Again combined well with McKinnon in the ruck.

30.Greenwood- today's performance was an improvement on last week against Geelong and contributed a number of great spoils. excellent defensive game. Put his head over the ball and pace was good as always.

31.Riggio- much better performance this week with 27 disposals and went in hard around the packs, unlike previous games. His best game in Werribee colours and if he can string together a some more high impact/high disposals game will back at AFL level.

34.Davies- played mostly in the midfield and was consistent with his disposal today. Helped set up a number of goals from the middle. Still a few games away from playing some AFL games again.

36.Scott Thompson- had a quiet game, did a few good things in defence and got some ball but in patches. Still a few games away from regaining a place in the AFL line up.

40.Obst- very quiet day around the ground, but he still managed to kick two goals.

42.McMahon- only had minimal impact and struggled during the second half, showing signs that his knee was giving him trouble although did manage to snag three goals. Not in the AFL side for a few weeks yet in my opinion.

45.Warren- little bit down on past two games against Williamstown and Geelong, only managed one goal but was good around the packs again as usual.

72.Sinclair- dominant display everywhere he played, I think maybe another one or two games before he's back in the AFL side. Played mostly in the midfield and ran all day, up there with Riggio as best Kangaroos listed player for Werribee.

Michael Barlow played another great game with 24 touches and three goals, definitely a good find for Werribee. Dom Gleeson tried his hardest in the midfield and combined extremely well with the Kangaroos players including Sinclair.

Castello and Rockefeller also impressed.

Reserves
47.Wilsen- played his first game after a long lay off due to injury and plenty at both ends. Looked good in patches and kicked two goals during a stint up forward.

Was a great day down at Bartercard Oval, signed up, so im a fully paid up werribee member, the bees one, was a good day, the only horrible thing was it got so dam cold and i left my other jacket at home, will not be forgetting it if i decide to go to ballarat next week.

Seen Josh Eddy give away a stupid free kick, mmm in the 3rd qtr i think it was, jsut put the guy, Dean Dick, and he went flying, luckily it was the opening of the werribee race, otherwise he would have crashed into the fence.

Im not liking watching Jess Sinclair tho, cant stand the guy.

Aren't all players arrogant in some way or another though?
