Sounds like Cal Ward could be just about ready for an AFL debut. Also good to see Harbrow in the best.

Cal was awesome today, but imo i wouldnt be rushing him into the senior team, 1 because i dont want to unsettle the team, look how well we have been doing without many changes, and 2, let him learn more of the game at vfl level and get his vce, i mean it might be a good thing for him to get a game in the senior doggies team, but if i was coach i wouldnt be doing it jsut yet.

WILLIAMSTOWN coach Brad Gotch couldn't remember a more comprehensive victory over VFL powerhouse club Sandringham in his seven years at the club than the one the Seagulls enjoyed on Sunday.
Playing at home at Burbank Oval, Williamstown crushed the visitors by 64-points.
"We have enormous respect for Sandringham, their players and their administration," Gotch said.
"They have been the benchmark of the competition for the past 15 years and more.
The Seagulls plundered seven final quarter goals to win 19.16 (130) to 9.12 (66). With five wins the Seagulls hold down second place on a narrow percentage gap to North Ballarat.
Gotch said his players had showed true grit when Sandringham came from five goals down at half-time to get within one kick midway through the third quarter. "You have got to take your hat off to Sandringham they put us under pressure," Gotch said.
The Seagulls answered the challenge to push out to a 24-point lead at three quarter time after inspirational goals to Brett Johnson, Dean Galea and Wayde Skipper.
"We raised the bar and blew them out of the water, Gotch said. They made a few mistakes and let us in."
Gotch admitted he had a rich array of talent at his finger tips.
"It's a great position to be in," he said.
Talent includes hard-running tough tackling midfielders Ben Jolley, skipper Brett Johnson, Liam Picken, Jarrod Harbrow, Callan Ward, Liam Picken and David Stretton, who all had a big impact on the game.
Talls Peter Street and Skipper were also dominant, while the defence led by Scott Meyer, Andrew McDougall and Jason Cloke was resolute.
Jolley had 27 disposals, Johnson and Picken each 24, Harbrow and Ward 23 and Stretton 21.
"I thought they were all good, particularly Ward who kicked two goals, Gotch said.
"His lace-out left foot passes were really special."
Ward set the game alight with a 30 metre left foot Peter Daicos-style goal 13 minutes into the first quarter.
He left the ground midway through the last quarter with a broken nose after a heavy collision but should be right for this weekend's game against the Bendigo Bombers. Harbrow staked his claim for AFL selection.
"He provided run, dash and carried the ball, Gotch said.
The Williamstown coach praised Street who had 32 effective hitouts, nine marks and 18 disposals.
"Street is a modern-day player - an attacking ruckman, he said. He really makes it happen because he reads the game so well.
Skipper booted three goals from 14 touches and five marks to also stake claims for an AFL recall.
Meyer, at full back, used effective spoiling tactics to restrict champion Sandringham player Nick Sautner to two goals.
"Scott wasn't getting looked at in the ruck so we tried him in a key position, Gotch said. He has good athleticism and kept Sautner quiet although he missed two or three shots for goal.
"He did a great job because there was a fair amount of ball coming into their forward line.
Centre-half-back Andrew McDougall impressed keeping Melbourne veteran Ben Holland to a handful of possessions.
"McDougall has been really good for the past two or three weeks, Gotch said. "It's hard for him to get a game with the Bulldogs, because they are no gaps. Cloke had 20 possessions, midfielder Farren Ray 19 and Andrejs Everitt 16 and eight marks.
There were other positive signs in Williamstown's final quarter onslaught with Box Hill/Hawthorn recruit Matthew Little booting three goals on debut after a shoulder injury. Rose kicked two last quarter goals to give him three for the match.
