I upgraded my car's CD player, so it now allows me to plug my IRiver into an AUX port, so I can play all my MP3s thru the car stereo, instead of having to have hundreds of CDs filling up the car... Woohoo!!!!

Now I can drive long distances (like to Canberra) and have plenty of music pumping thru my stereo....

Bought the DVD "Children of Men". Good movie, but it is pretty full on.

That reminds me of a bumper sticker I saw last time I was in the USA...

I just bought the doggies DVD of the highlights of 2006 season.... great buy

purchased the new Air CD, "Pocket Symphony" - these guys are the kings of chill out dance music. Not as good as Talkie Walkie or Moon Safari, but lots of cool songs on it.

The only chill out song I've heard that surpasses their stuff is the song "Teardrops" by Massive Attack - great song that.


I was all set to buy the new Linkin Park album, "Minutes to Midnight", but had a listen to it just now, and IT'S AWFUL! Absolutely rotten. I'm really disappointed in these guys - their other albums were brilliant, but this one is a real letdown. The songs (except for the first single) are bland and dull, and they've become like all other bands by including swearing into their songs. Don't waste your money on the album.

You know when you buy a follow up CD to a first release and you think, oh dammit, it will never live up to the original?

Well, Thirsty Merc have blown me away again (thanks to the teenies that jumped on and attempted to destroy them initially!) and this CD, Slideshows, is just getting its first spin!

So happy right now!
