Kangaroos listed players for Werribee
Seniors

29.Goldstein- finished the game with an astonishing 50 hitouts as he completely dominated the ruck contests. Only had one mark and 10 disposals in what was a little bit disappointing.

30.Greenwood- little bit down compared to recent weeks, but still played a very serviceable game in my opinion. Had 14 disposals, 2 tackles, 1 block and 1 spoil. Still a chance for AFL selection.

31.Riggio- definitely one of his best performance in Werribee colours for season 2008 as he compiled 30 disposals, 7 clearances, 12 tackles and 1 block. Kicked a goal and didn't stop running.

32.Ross- was consistent for the entire game yesterday, but I think he will play the rest of the season out in the VFL. Had 15 disposals, 1 clearance and 6 tackles.

33.Brown- again proved his versatility with 24 disposals, 18 hit outs and a very important four goals. Very unlucky to be dropped and is a chance to make it back into the AFL team in my opinion.

34.Davies- little bit down on recent weeks performances, but still managed to set up goals and apply some defensive pressure at different stages.

40.Obst- played in defence and applied plenty of pressure to help his side smash Bendigo. Had 13 disposals, 4 blocks and 7 spoils.

45.Warren- much improved performance this week as he played in the midfield in an attempt to offer some versatility away from being just a small forward. Compiled 19 disposals, 2 tackles and 1 block.

47.Wilsen- played his first VFL senior game an was good in patches and finished with 8 disposals, along with a goal.

Robbie Castello (28 disposals) played his best game for the year and provided plenty of run through the midfield, kicked two goals as well.

Michael Barlow was again consistent as he compiled 25 disposals and kicked two goals.

Pods was on fire with 7 goals.

Thanks for letting me no about the win Benny. Great to see Pods kick 7 big ones.

This was a huge win for the Werribee Footy Club, we are now in 4th spot because Casey lost (thanks to Coburg).

This weeks game against Williamstown is another HUGE game for Werribee, we need to win to finish in 4th spot and get the double chance.

Your welcome Mel.

Definitely do need to win against Williamstown and getting the double chance would be great for the club.
