The Jarrod Harbrow Thread Since the retirement of Bubba in 2006, i never really had a favourite player.
I love Tom Williams & think he will be a gun, if his body gets right. But nobody has really taken my eye since Bubba walked off in his 300th & last game, until now.
Jarrod 'Kostya Tszyu' Harbrow has been elevated in my books, i have closely watched him last season & this season to see what he has got. And i think it's now fair to say, that he is starting to take over the mantle of being my number 1 favourite.
I think this guy could be anything, he has pace, skill, can mark & is gutsy as all hell. What he showed during the finals, shows that the guy can be a match & a big time player.
Jarrod Harbrow, you are now my favourite :D

Just needs to find consistency, and put on some more size, but he's a tough little bugger and another win from the rookie draft.

The kids a gun, hard as nails.

Little tough nut. Probably my favourite player too. Never gives in, chases everything, chases everyone and knows how to kick a goal.

Yeah I was going to say, you forgot tackling.
His tackling up forward has been fantastic.
Welcome to a permanent spot Mr Harbrow.

My favourite small forward tackling supremo. The kid just fires, loves how he's not scared to go at anyone.
JH, we salute you!

In the like of Matty Robbins..
Matthew Robbins is such an interesting case. If we could harness his mentality and apply it to our entire squad we would come close to winning the flag every year.
He came from Geelong after a few years struggling for a game. He then had some bad luck with injury over a couple years at the Dogs and could be classified as a fringe player at best.
Then one season he just "switched on". It was early in the season and he was just chasing everyone like his life depended on it. Throwing his body on the ball and in front of kicking players looking for the smother. He managed to keep a spot in the side and his career kicked on from there. He also had a second break when moved as a goal-sneak under Rhode (one of few positive changes he made in his tenure).
I look at Harbrow and it hasn't looked forced for him. Whilst he throws himself about like Robbins it appears to me anyhow like it comes even more naturally to Jarrod and that is exciting for all his fans.
