Yeah great night, Adam Cooney your the best, hes bloody awesome value. Great night all round i think, not a great end to the night, and not a great morning, but i still managed to have fun for the 1st time in a while. Westys speach was unbelieveable, he had me listening to every single word he said, and i was almost in tears, thanks for the memories Scooter. Congrats to Crossy, you deserve it man, if only past coaches had of shown you the confidence Rocket has, we would have been watching you in the bulldogs team a lot longer than we have, dont think i can say anything else about Crossy, i think you all know what a great player he is, but hes an ever better guy, i wish him luck with when he gets married in 3 weeks to Sam. Daaale morris, well i dont know how many of you know, but hes going to become a daddy, woohoo congrats Daaale. Was also great to see past players there last night, Monty, Steve Wallis, Todd Curley, JIMMY PLUNKETT, Bubba, thats only to name a few. They were all great bits of the night, but the best for me was when Will won the East West Club Young Guns Award, i really didnt think hed get it, thought it would be Cal Ward, Josh Hill or Jarrod Harbrow, that made my night when Will got it, didnt Crossy win it a few years ago? Woohoo Will could follow him and become a Sutton Medal winner hehehe. The official stuff ended with a dvd made by the leadership group(was Gias idea) about how they felt after the prelim final. Im not sure if i liked this tho, after a great night, lots of great speaches and that, it left me a little bit disappointed with the result(again), im just not to sure it was the best thing to end with. But still a great dvd put together tho.

But still a great dvd put together tho. the idea was for the players not to forget how it felt that night, to think about it over their break and to come back wanting more - to be a better player, person and team... it was hard to watch but good at the same time i think the players will respond well cos those boys on the dvd where still hurting you could see it on the faces....

Wow, the B&F was a reallly, reallly long night with player presentations going close to the 11.30pm mark (we're generally carving up the dance floor at 10.30ish!). Still a very pleasing night with the B&F winner (well done Crossy, such a workhorse!), a great tribute to West (including his little boys hehe You could tell they were just ready for bed) and the video when the count had finished, with Gia and the leadership group that the Bulldogs weren't satisfied by the end of Season 2008, that next year we're going to take it 2 steps further. ...I just hope they remember that. Didn't catch up for a chat with too many of the boys but had a quick word to Murph who was on crutches, his knee was only a clean up so should be right and won't miss too much, spoke to Coon's lovely fiancée Haylea, poor woman is just mortified by the Burger Rings story. And yes, it's been replaced by a lovely diamond engagement ring. A last minute change saw my C'wood best friend come to the B&F. She's got stars in her eyes for Will - you've got competition, Mel :D Will it be enough to convert her? Probably not... but she enjoyed the night that our club put on and will probably be a go-er next year too.

Maybe they should have shown it at the jumper presentation in march next year, get then angry about what happened, and ready for another year of hard work.
