Congrats Cowlesee... beat me by a single point!!! 2nd isn't too bad... next year I'll be first. Thank you, thank you... certainly was a tightly run race to the finishing line, a few rounds where it really could have gone either way by season's end. Must admit I am one of those Brisbanites who braved the awful loss to Fitzroy Bears at the Gabba a few weeks back - taking out the tips slightly makes up for the shemozzle that was the only time I saw the boys live in 08... and a premiership wouldn't go astray either. But we shall have to wait and see. And could be waiting quite a while longer, but alas, the Red White n Blue are for once entrenched in the Finals, it cannot be denied, nor can they take away our Top 4 Home and Away stretch from the record books. I work all weekends so am very thankful that our 1st final is Friday night, cannot wait, bumper crowd, September in the air, Doggie Doggie Doggie Woof Woof Woof at the G, ruffle some brown and gold feathers and one Buddy, Mr 100. I haven't seen or heard a number of the latter season games due to work, will be good to watch this one, and catch the upcoming Highlights dvd (which I see in the la-*test*-('") magazine is the reward for those of us signed up to Bulldog For Life/Monthly Pay club membership options). Well done to all tippers in 2008, look forward to battling next year, where I feel I will be solidly beaten (seasons like this come oh so rarely).
