Rate a Player: Jarrod Harbrow The hard-running, hard-tackling style of Jarrod Harbrow has won over many fans at Whitten Oval in the past season. After struggling to hold a position early in the season, Jarrod came back into the side against Melbourne in round 15, gaining votes in the SOTS Jack Collins Medal. He would go on to play in every single game from this point on until the Dogs bowed out to Geelong in the Preliminary Final.
The decision by Rocket to give him time up forward as a goal sneak rejuvenated his game. His bursts of brilliance now hurt the opposition on the scoreboard and allowed him to boot 16 goals and 7 behinds for the season. His presence in the forward line added an extra ingredient to the Dog's attack that has been missing since the retirement of Matthew Robbins, defensive pressure. Rebounding half-backs could no longer take time and space for granted.
Now totalling 25 career games since being promoted from the Rookie list in 2007, Jarrod can expect to double that total over the next season if form and fitness stay true.
How do people rate his 2008?
Will he being a starting 22 player come round 1 of 2009?
What position does Jarrod play his best footy?
Or any other comments...

Has come on in leaps & bounds.
He has a certain amount of attitude about him, and not in a bad up himself kind of way, his rats tail, his boxing skills, his never die attitute & wanting to succeed whatever it takes.
His pressure skills are awesome, just a classic example watching back the Final v Sydney, and chasing down i think it was Ted Richards, put in not one, not 2, but 4 efforts, ran him down enough to cause a turnover, just never gave up, you don't get that with alot of players.
Best position? a bit of a mixed bag really, could have stints in the midfield, on a wing, or up forward as well perhaps more a flank than pocket, so he can run up the ground more.
We have had 3 success stories with the rookie draft system, Matty Boyd was the first, Dale Morris, now Jarrod Harbrow, no doubt he'll play AT LEAST 150 games!

Very exciting.
I love him up forward as our goal sneak.
He looks so dangerous (with or without the ball)
