I'm loving today. Here is why - today started horribly, yet another "incident" on the Westgate (third this week, for the record). Can people not drive? But all rectified when I at least got in early enough for Early Bird parking (it can make or break a day to be honest).

Then I came in to work and shocking! There is work here, happily making the day go quicker.

Then! A confirmation from the best band manager in the history of band management, Mr Steve Rennie, confirms that Incubus are playing the Soundwave Festival on Feb 29th 2008 (the festival as a whole is emo poo but it's INCUBUS!) and THREE OTHER DATES, which means Cino gets to catch up on lots of Incubus early next year.

THEN! I get an email from my favourite photographer's business manager (pretty funny, I know), telling me that a print I want is available in limited signed edition. I love you, Karin Catt's business manager!

It's only 2pm! Can today get any better?!

Dont you love it when youve had the toughest week for a very very very long time then go bowling for a friends bday and have lots of laughs with them, was awesome, even if some girl nearly knocked out by a bowing ball, wont mention who did it tho lmao. Nah she didnt nearly get knocked out, but if this person didnt put the ball down it was going the right way to hit the girl, heheeheh, funniest thing ive seen in ages.

Just a quick note, that wouldnt have happened if this person wasnt blind folded, but hey it was very funny, and got a laugh out of just about everyone there.

DYLIW your boss lets you take the Monday before Cup Day off, so you get a super long weekend! Woohoo!!

We weren't given the option to take the Monday off, we were told under no uncertain terms, "no work on Monday or Tuesday". No worries, I'll also take my half day Friday.

That equals 4.5 days.

Because our school always had curriculum days on the monday before Melb Cup Day, our parents would let us take the Wed, Thur and Fri off to have a week-long holiday at timeshare.. but due to being a damn yr 12 we couldn't go this year as i have an exam on the Friday before (when we usually leave), the Monday - when no-one else is at school, the Wednesday AND Friday!!
So that's a bit of love and hate at the same time..

DYLIW you have two children, eight months in the Navy and a few weeks of unemployment, all in the tax year (I did two years in one) and you get over a thousand back in your tax return!!
