9 sleeps and I'll be visiting the great nation of the U.S. - more specifically Las Vegas and Los Angeles (Sin City and Silicon City). Woohoo!!

I'm going to Vegas baby!!

P.S. there is no truth to the rumour that I will be starting up a "Chuck Norris for President" campaign while there...

I'd love to visit Portugal. Want to go and see Porto play!

Cool...actually that term doesn't really apply to Vegas. When I was there it was 116F (almost 47C). The overnight low was 38C!!!!

I recommend heading to the Las Vegas Hilton to see the Star Trek Experience exhibit, and to the Stratosphere and New York New York for the cool roller coasters.

Porto?! Why not watch Sporting (by far the greatest team the world has ever seen) instead? We may be 11 points behind Porto in the league but we beat them 2-0 last Sunday  ! All it took was to score two goals in two minutes and then to hang on grimly for dear life for 75 minutes as shot after Porto shot failed to find the target. There was dancing in the stands, I can tell you, and I was one of the dancers! Besides, the word on the street is that the pig-skin sandwiches served outside Sporting's ground are far better than what you would get in Oporto.

Well Braga do have a good team (they beat Sporting 3-0 ). And Braga is a beautiful city. I had to go there (work) a couple of weeks ago and it's quite charming. The Portugal - Spain Summit was in town so there was a huge confusion, with military bands and police and whatnot in the streets, but I still liked to go there. If any of you come to Portugal, Braga would be a very good place to visit. An additional tip: wine!!!!!!!!!!!!
